Welcome to the first (we think) dvArt community for 'alternative' Brits.
Us lot reckoned when we first joined DA that there was hardly anyone from the Uk, let alone those who appreciated the same alternative lifestyle we know and love, on it...how wrong were we!

So heres a whole community dedicated just to that...and heres the requirements

You live/have lived (and I s'pose - want to live) in the Uk
You live and enjoy the lifestyle aquainted with music genres such as punk, emo, hardcore, metal, grunge...anything alternative
(Now heres the tricky bit) You are in or support a underground/unsigned local band...show us through your art, a link to their website or just general details about the band

If you wanna join just send a note, with 'member' as the subject. Just say in it...you wanna join and give us some info about the bands UNSIGNED (and some signed if you want).

COMPETITION
Since this community is new it needs a 'good' idea, the last was was just thrown up so the place had some identity...same with the avatar. So if anyone thinks they can do better on either front, submit you entry on your own account, send a not here and we will link it in the journal to it! Simple.
All entries must a) relate to the group in someway
b)not be offensive to any other groups/races,etc.
c)be something everyone can appreciate!
